This one’s a love letter to one of Australia’s coolest little night watchers, the barking owl. There’s a bit of attitude in this one, like it’s caught you out in the dark and is quietly judging your life choices.
The piece is a cardboard block print, printed pretty rough to keep that raw, scratchy texture. I like letting the imperfections show as it gives the prints a bit more life and grit. It’s printed on recycled paper from Dodgy Paper.
